Time

Is it considered to be bad if you get to a new country but you are still counting days to get back?

Whatever, I have 51 days to go to be with Marquito again and for now I wish the time could go faster.

Asian culture

Asian girl and boy are in love and want to get married but they belong to different social classes. So the mother of the boy goes to meet the mother of the girl. This one is very nice, very polite and very kind. She serves tee and bananas and they are chatting around one hour about everything except of the kids or a marriage. Finally the mother of the boy arrives home and tells him: "Forget about the marriage."
You wonder why?? ... because banana and tee doesn´t go together.

Already in Ireland

Yep, I´m here. I arrived yesterday late at night after spending the whole day in Madrid´s airport (no seats on T1), I faced the specific Irish sence of humor while being told there is no announcement of bus stops in the bus and I just have to guess which one is mine (of course there is!), I had a culture shock understanding that "5 minutes of walking, right here, you can´t get lost" could have different meaning in a different country - while walking 20 minutes, getting lost like 3 times and even stopping a car in the middle of nowhere, at midnight just to ask which way to go. And that´s not all: Climbing to the 3rd floor with 25 kilos heavy suitcase the same width as the stairs had! just realizing they are using a different plugs.
I´m missing my baby so much....

3 incredible years

I have the pleasure to announce here that today it is 3 years since we are together with Marquito.
And every day it is better and better.

Thank you Marquito for staying by my side.
I hope there are many more years infront of us and we will overcome all obstacles on our way.

My internship in Vigo was short but nice. I liked the environment and the flexibility they gave me :) Here you can see some of my nice colleagues when they invited me the last day of my work to the restaurant and later to the house of one of them. On picture: Raquel, Patricia, Maria, Myself

Studying and relaxing

Last week there was a national holiday on Wednesday, day of Galicia on Thursday and so called "puente" on Friday (understand - it would be stupid to work on Friday so why not to extend the holiday yeh ;-) ).
We enjoyed these days with Marquito on maximum. Studying together - I registered myself for Spanish exam once I arrive in Dublin so I am trying to work on my vocabulary with a great help of Marquito - THANK YOU !!! Going to the beach or just for a beer and of course relaxing :)
Btw. I' ve a new haircut - but I will post some pics later, hold on :)

Sunset on the beach

There' s nothing better than enjoying sunset on the beach together.

Yesterday we decided to enjoy the sun again. After the work we fight for a free parking place. (I guess the whole city had the same idea).

We spend around 4 hours on the beach sunbathing, eating ice cream, playing frisbee and voley.. Before going home we went to swing for a while and then to enjoy the incredible sunset walking on the seashore and dancing on the beach while listening to a romantic music coming from a restaurant next to the beach. Just perfect!

3 last weeks

Since the 1st of August I can't stop thinking about it.. I got used to this place finaly and I will have to leave soon. Why the hell is it so hard to say bye .. I can' t imagine to leave here Marquito again.

I wanted to post something about the last few weeks and especially weekends which were really great. Also the African hot arrived to Vigo so we could enjoy the beach. But I simply didn' t have time. I also wanted to take some pictures from the beach but my camera just didn' t want to participate, so next time...
